American Federation of Astrologers (AFA) The AFA is the oldest Astrology organization in the United States. It was established in 1938 and serves a membership of over 3500. Membership is open to all interested parties, laymen and professional alike. It offers an astrology study program and tests for certification. It also serves as a retail outlet for astrology books.
